You said J makes you "so happy," but isn't your point of the post that you were already happy(ish), and now you've found someone who can make you happIER? It was pure hell! I remember the "titles" and the public humiliations if you didn't turn in your "time". I wasn't allowed to think for myself or have goals outside of that "organization". I finally walked away from that organization in 1990s and never looked back. To this day, I have a problem with getting involved with organized religions. I bought your book and had a discussion about homelessness with my 8 year daughter. She was very interested in your story. As I tucked her in to bed, she asked me what could she do to help children who are homeless! So, tomorrow morning we will make our list.
