A bonus for you this morning; here’s a video of Fezzik (filmed by the awesome Sage) playing with a couple of her other dogs.
I have a job interview today, and I had to take care of some other business all night (meeting ELLE blogging deadlines and fun stuff) so I just neglected the whole sleep thing. It’s OK, when I get home from the interview I’ll crash for a few hours.
Also, Tommy Christopher over at Mediaite.com has written a great article about the ELLE/E. Jean story; he was kind enough to ask me straight out if I felt I was being exploited or otherwise treated unfairly, rather than speculating, and I was more than happy to answer him. I hope that the article answers the concerns of anyone who fears that I am being in any way exploited to win an influential fashion mag karma points.
Off to interview, wish me luck!
~Bri

Nicely handled on the response to RRW. And thanks for the doggie movie

Dearest Bri,
I APPLAUDE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I too was homeless at one point with my three very young children. I swore one day to make a difference and well life got ahead. I came across ur story a few nights ago. Neddless to say I haven’t slept much since. I have negun a fight to get answers on the funding for the HEARTH ACT and to start a non profit ( first from home) and to learn to get a blog going, i am going to make it my mission to begin to end this nightmare for so many of us. I am taking action and getting things laid pout. I have tried to contact you but I cannot get the email to you it is returned each time. i need to speak wioth you on a few issues if thats ok and to see if we can help each other and lest fight this fight together. I have been researching things for years and never acr=ted on them I am ashamed to say until now. I can be contacted at either traco2@mail.com or Tracyo1966@yahoo.com i will give other direct contact info from one of those email addresses not comfy putting it out there for everyone. Take Care and God Bless. Looking forward to hearing from you and working together to make a diffrence and make homelessness a thing of the past in the very near future. Tracy
So sorry for typos. I am running on empty as r u I am sure. I have forwarded your story to a few people I thought might be able to learn from it. Thanks again .
You’ll do fine.. all the best Bri… and thanks for the video..awesome..
Awww, PUPPIES! I love how Fezzik starts barking and investigating over near the little guy, awww
Good luck with everything!!!
Sending you healing and blessings, Bri. All you have to say is “I accept the healing and blessings.” I have been homeless and am looking at letting go of my home and becoming a full time RV’r. It is not easy, nor fun to be stuck between deciding to pay rent and utilities or eating.
I wish you well on your journey, the stigma needs to be lifted from the issue and more insight given to those who live in ignorance.
Blessings,
What a great story Bri!
I just wanted to say keep up the job hunting and the site! It’s nice to see that someone is out there making other people aware of the reality of homelessnesss!
I started out homeless at 16 and I know how difficult it is to keep your life and goals on track when you have nothing.
You are an inspiration I could have used all those years ago to motivate me when I really hit rock bottom.
I’m now 32 years old and I managed to get through school and become a psychiatric nurse.
I admire what you are doing and hopefully other people out there in the same situation will learn from you and go in the right direction!!
Good Luck with everything!!
GOOD luck w/the interview. Great story from TC, doing my part for #homeless as well. Still cherring for you sweets..-Your Cheering Section ;0}

i am not, nor will i be homeless any time in the near future. i am a 50 something woman who is fascinated with your journey. i am neither fearless nor cleaver but pound away daily at a job that pays very well. my husband and i live a very comfortable life. that said, i envy you. hmmm? envy a young homeless girl? you are brave and intelligent, handling a difficult situation with class, sophistication and ingenuity. good luck to you and matt. i hope you both get everything you deserve.
I just found out about you and your blog and your beautiful Mastiff!
I applaude your schuztpa!! What an incredible journey and just a great way of letting us know all about it.
Good luck to all of you and let the journey continue!!!!!!!
